Injuries arising from acts of violence or aggression are the second-most common injury type among continuing care workers [1]. Learn how to prevent and de-escalate potentially violent situations in the workplace, and how you can protect yourself in the event of a behavioral crisis with the Provincial Violence Prevention Core Classroom Course. This 8 hour classroom session is led by an expert health care facilitator. The session builds on concepts in the e-learning modules, providing you with the opportunity to practice and apply your knowledge in various scenarios.

Ticket cancellations received a minimum of 15 days prior to the event date will be fully refunded. Refunds will not be permitted for cancellations received less than 15 days of the event date. SafeCare BC reserves the right to change the location and/or date of this event with reasonable notice and cause. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled time/date/location, a full refund will be provided. SafeCare BC reserves the right of admission for all participants, as well as the right to refuse registration/entry.
