Overview

The two-day Health and Safety Program Audit training course has been developed by SafeCare BC for the continuing care sector. It provides instruction on how to use the Audit Tool. The Audit Tool has been designed to assist continuing care organizations in assessing the presence, implementation, and effectiveness of their organization’s occupational health and safety (OHS) policies, processes, procedures, and practices. Organizations can use this self-audit tool to identify opportunities for OHS improvements at their sites.

Following completion of the two-day training course, participants will complete an audit of their site.
