This free webinar is designed to explain the amendments to t that took effect on April 16, 2019. With the presumptive clause now covering nurses, care aides, and emergency dispatchers, it is important to know how you are affected. WorkSafeBC will discuss the services available to injured workers and explain how employers can support workers with mental disorders.

Ed Dowling has worked with the municipal, hospitality and film industries in a health and safety consulting role in recent years.  In his 32 years at WorkSafeBC Ed has held senior positions in both the Claims and Prevention departments.  Ed is a certified Health and Safety Consultant. 

Mike Paine has worked in a health and safety consulting role with employers and workers across several sectors including health care, forestry and manufacturing for 20 years at WorkSafeBC. Prior to WorkSafeBC, Mike worked in the health care sector responsible for both Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety. Mike is a certified Health and Safety Consultant.
